Cardiac rhythm disturbances can be fatal. But most are treatable and manageable, and some can even be cured. Electrophysiology is a specialty that focuses on diagnosis
and management of the various arrhythmias – allowing for precise identification of rhythm problems, which leads to
the appropriate therapy.

This field has experienced explosive growth since its inception in 1967 and now, aided by sophisticated technology, some arrhythmias can be completely cured and sudden death can be virtually eliminated in many high-risk patients.

Wisconsin Electrophysiology Group is a group of eight specialists at the forefront of technological innovation and treatment of cardiac rhythm disturbances (arrhythmias). We are the largest group of electrophysiologists in the Midwest, and we are committed to providing outstanding patient care – through compassion, persistence and dedication.

We have developed this web site with several goals in mind:

  • To give you an overview of the various clinical problems related to cardiac arrhythmias and the diagnostic and treatment options available.

  • To familiarize you with our patient care programs and with our educational and research capabilities, both of which will ensure that patients receive the most current and comprehensive therapy available.

  • To provide you with information on how to contact us with questions or requests for further information.

After visiting our web site I believe you will agree that through electrophysiology we can find the reasons for – and provide the solutions to – your rhythm problems.
