Steven C. Port, MD, FACC

Dr. Port was born and raised in New York City. He attended Queens College and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine was at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. His cardiology fellowship was at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He was a Research Associate in Medicine at Duke and was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine and Associate Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Port relocated to Wisconsin and was Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. In 1995, he joined Cardiovascular Associates and was President of the organization from 1996 to 2001. He is internationally known for his expertise in Nuclear Cardiology and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology. He is also actively involved in Cardiovascular CT Angiography and Cardiac Catheterizations. Dr. Port enjoys fishing, fine wine and golf.
