Electrophysiology Sub-Specialty Area of Interest: Atrial Fibrillation & CRT Dr. Vikram Nangia joined our group in 2005 after completing his fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Aurora Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Nangia was First Rank in the UNESCO All India Schools Talent Search Contest in his middle school and went on to be First Rank (from over 65,000 candidates) in the All India Central Board of Secondary Education Medical College Admission tests. He completed medical school at AIIMS, New Dehli, India. After completing his internal medicine residency at Aurora Sinai Medical Center, he joined the University of Wisconsin Medical School Internal Medicine faculty from 1997 to 2001. In 1995 Dr. Nangia was the winner of the Clinical Vignette Competition at the 40th Annual Meeting of the American College of Physicians in Wisconsin.
Dr. Nangia has authored and co-authored several articles and abstracts and presented at national meetings of the Heart Rhythm Society and the American Heart Association Annual Meeting. Dr. Nangia has also presented at Aurora Sinai’s Grand Rounds.
He is a member of several national societies including the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.
